{"id":123921,"date":"2016-05-18T09:35:26","date_gmt":"2016-05-18T07:35:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=123921"},"modified":"2016-05-18T09:36:01","modified_gmt":"2016-05-18T07:36:01","slug":"watch-entire-parliament-mimics-zumas-laugh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/government\/123921\/watch-entire-parliament-mimics-zumas-laugh\/","title":{"rendered":"Watch: MPs mimic Zuma&#8217;s laugh in Parliament"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Amid the punches and violence, president Jacob Zuma still managed to laugh his way through a question and answer session in the National Assembly on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The president&#8217;s laughter in Parliament has become as customary as the Economic Freedom Fighters being thrown out of it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy Laughing is not hurtful, it\u2019s healthy,\u201d Zuma has said during a previous session. \u201cI don\u2019t know how to stop my laughter, is it hurting?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The president&#8217;s laughter, however has angered opposition MPs, who believe that the president does not take questions brought up in the House seriously.<\/p>\n<p>At one point during the Q&amp;A session on Tuesday, <span class=\"post-text\">John Steenhuisen, Chief Whip of the Democratic Alliance could be heard insulting the president while he was at the podium. &#8220;You&#8217;re a joke,&#8221; he said.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"post-text\">&#8220;You must laugh if I&#8217;m a joke.
