The initial claims by SAA could have potentially landed the group in trouble with the Competition Commission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Residence and citizenship planning group Henley and Partners says that it has <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moneyweb.co.za\/news\/economy\/south-africans-looking-buy-foreign-citizenship-increasing\/\">seen an increase in South Africans looking to buy their way into foreign citizenship through foreign investments<\/a><\/strong> in the past 12 months. The group said that as many as 350 people have approached the company in the last year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>South African markets were closed for a public holiday on Thursday. On Friday,<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.xe.com\/currencycharts\/?from=USD&amp;to=ZAR\"> the rand was trading slightly weaker at R15.31 to the dollar R21.83 to the pound and R17.24 to the euro<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>In global news:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/af.reuters.com\/article\/southAfricaNews\/idAFL8N1982JB\">Asian shares rose on Friday, but were set for weekly losses as investors favoured safe haven assets<\/a><\/strong> due to fears that Britain will vote to quit the European Union, though the killing of a pro-EU lawmaker was seen swaying sentiment toward the &#8220;Remain&#8221; camp.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-global-oil-idUSKCN0Z2047\">Crude oil prices rose in early Asian trade on Friday for the\u00a0first time in seven days as markets took a breather <\/a><\/strong>from\u00a0concerns about the impact of Britain&#8217;s possible exit from\u00a0the European Union.\u00a0Brent crude settled down $1.78 at $47.19 per barrel.\u00a0 US\u00a0crude settled down $1.80 at $46.21 a barrel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In other news<\/strong>:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ewn.co.za\/2016\/06\/17\/First-on-EWN-Nzimande-says-ANC-risks-imploding-as-a-political-party\">Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande says that factionalism within the ANC is threatening to cause the party to implode<\/a><\/strong>.
