Skytrax has announced the world’s Top 100 Airlines in 2016, as voted for by airline customers around the world.<\/p>\n

Three South African airlines made the grade for 2016, led by South African Airways – though the struggling state-owned company has slipped quite a ways down the ranking from 34th in 2015 to 41st in 2016.<\/p>\n

The two other spots were taken up by two low-cost airlines in South Africa: Kulula and Mango.<\/p>\n

Kulula was the only South African airline to climb the ranking in 2016, moving up to 93rd place from 99th in 2015. This pushes the airline above Mango, which slipped from 96th to 98th in 2016.<\/p>\n

In the Africa listing, SAA was ranked as the top airline in Africa, with Kulula ranked 7th and Mango ranked 8th.<\/p>\n
