though many remain undecided on the outcome.

The latest election polls from Ipsos and eNCA show that ANC support in Nelson Mandela Bay and the City of Johannesburg is increasing – while the City of Tshwane is still tipped in the DA’s favour.

Despite an uptick in votes for the ANC in the two former metros, the DA is still seen as the leader across all three.

The polls surveyed a demographically representative group of people made up of adults across all racial groups (majority black – 74%) between the ages of 18 and over 50, from low to middle income households.

In the first week poll, the results showed that the DA would win two of the three most hotly-contested metros – Nelson Mandela Bay and Tshwane, with Johannesburg still under the control of the ANC.

By week six –
