<span data-term=\"goog_4342679\">01 August 2016<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The new increases mean that drivers\u2019 minimum wage will increase from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monthly<\/strong>: R3,030.67 to\u00a0R3,218.57;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Weekly<\/strong>: R697.13 to\u00a0R742.80;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hourly<\/strong>: R14.51 to\u00a0R15.47.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The administration workers\u2019 minimum wages will rise as follows: monthly from R3,020.67 to <strong>R3,218.57<\/strong>; weekly from R697.13 to <strong>R742.80<\/strong>; and hourly from R14.51 to <strong>R15.47<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read: <a href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/business\/110689\/how-much-money-taxi-drivers-really-make-in-south-africa\/\" target=\"_blank\">How much money taxi drivers really make in South Africa<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rank marshals minimum wage will increase monthly from R2,414.63 to <strong>R2,564.33<\/strong>; weekly from R557.26 to <strong>R591.81<\/strong> and hourly from R11.60 to <strong>R12.32<\/strong>, the department said.<\/p>\n<p>The workers working in the sector and not specified, their wages will increase monthly from R2,112.81 to <strong>R2,243.80<\/strong>; weekly from R487.60 to <strong>R517.83<\/strong> and hourly from R10.15 to R10,78.<\/p>\n<p>The new boarding allowance &#8211; where an employer require an employee sleep over at a place other than where the employee resides &#8211;
