{"id":131728,"date":"2016-07-28T09:22:13","date_gmt":"2016-07-28T07:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=131728"},"modified":"2016-07-28T09:22:13","modified_gmt":"2016-07-28T07:22:13","slug":"mtn-reveals-when-it-plans-to-list-in-nigeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/131728\/mtn-reveals-when-it-plans-to-list-in-nigeria\/","title":{"rendered":"MTN reveals when it plans to list in Nigeria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MTN says it plans to list on The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in 2017, as part of a fine settlement agreement with Federal Government of Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;MTN Nigeria is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has resolved to proceed with preparations for a listing of MTN Nigeria on The NSE as soon as commercially and legally possible and has established a management task team with the responsibility to guide the company towards a listing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;At present, MTN Nigeria is targeting that the listing takes place during 2017, subject to suitable market conditions,&#8221;
