{"id":13220,"date":"2012-05-26T13:16:16","date_gmt":"2012-05-26T11:16:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=13220"},"modified":"2015-02-27T16:42:46","modified_gmt":"2015-02-27T14:42:46","slug":"sas-mobile-ceos-reveal-their-smartphone-choices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/13220\/sas-mobile-ceos-reveal-their-smartphone-choices\/","title":{"rendered":"SA&#8217;s mobile CEOs reveal their smartphone choices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CEOs of mobile operators are in the privileged position to be able to get their hands on any mobile phone they want, and their smartphone choices are, therefore, a good indication of which mobile devices are the best on the market.<\/p>\n<p>MyBroadband BusinessTech asked the mobile bigwigs which phones they are currently using, and unsurprisingly Samsung\u2019s Android devices and Apple\u2019s iPhone reigns supreme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8ta head, Amith Maharaj<\/strong> is currently using a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with Ice Cream Sandwich and an iPhone 4S. Maharaj previously used a Blackberry Curve 9360 as a primary device, but has ditched BlackBerry for Android and Apple.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vodacom CEO, Pieter Uys<\/strong> is currently using a Samsung Galaxy Note. Pieter is another cellular executive who migrated from BlackBerry to Android.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vodacom CTO, Andries Delport<\/strong> and <strong>Vodacom COO, Sipho Maseko<\/strong> are flying the flag for South Africa\u2019s most popular smartphone platform.
