A poll conducted by eNCA and market research company Ipsos, shows who South Africans think is the best leader out of the three major political parties contesting the local municipal elections on Wednesday – 3 August.<\/p>\n

Each leader is evaluated on a scale from 0 to 10, where 0 means that the respondent is totally against the person as a political leader and 10 means they are\u00a0totally in favour of this leader.<\/p>\n

The table below summarises the views of registered voters about the leaders of the three strongest political parties in the country.<\/p>\n

The polls surveyed a demographically representative group of people made up of adults across all racial groups (majority black \u2013 74%) between the ages of 18 and over 50, from low to middle income households.<\/p>\n
