It turns your cellphone into a panic button that immediately links you to ER24\u2019s Contact Centre when you hit a speed dial number,\u201d the group said.<\/p>\n<p>The user&#8217;s location can be traced by means of triangulation using cellular towers. An operator will also phone the user immediately to find out what assistance is needed so that the authorities and necessary help can be dispatched to the correct location.<\/p>\n<p>ER24 spokesperson, <a title=\"Werner Vermaak\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/2999-Werner-Vermaak\">Werner Vermaak<\/a> said: \u201cThe incidence of trauma in South Africa has increased dramatically in recent years.
