Gordhan has made it publicly known that he will not meet the Hawks today as was requested &#8211; while the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ewn.co.za\/2016\/08\/25\/Hawks-remain-mum-on-what-action-to-take-against-Gordhan\">investigative unit remains silent<\/a><\/strong> on its next move in the saga. The Hawks are accusing Gordhan of corruption, but have provided no evidence. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bdlive.co.za\/national\/2016\/08\/25\/hawks-have-no-case-says-gordhan\">Gordhan says the group has no case<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bdlive.co.za\/business\/energy\/2016\/08\/25\/guptas-tegeta-threatens-treasury\">The Gupta mining company, Tegeta Exploration and Resources, has threatened National Treasury with legal action, should the latter decide to release a report<\/a><\/strong> with the results of an investigation into Eskom&#8217;s contracts to the Democratic Alliance. The group claims that report would prejudice its business, and that it was not given room to comment. It warned that Treasury would &#8220;release it at (its) own peril&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fin24.com\/Economy\/gordhan-speaks-out-on-patronage-corruption-20160824\">A zero-percent hike in universities in possible &#8211; but only if officials stop corruption<\/a><\/strong>. This is according to finmin Pravin Gordhan, speaking in a debate with commentator Justice Malala.
