The market reacted negatively to the announcement, sending the company’s stock sinking by 3% (24 May 2012).

Related articles

RIM shares drop 3% on sales manager resignation

RIM takes more knocks

RIM shares fall as BlackBerry 10 fails to impress

BlackBerry’s World is crumbling

Research in Motion (RIM) is looking to cut between 2,000 and 6,000 jobs in the next few weeks, according to reports – but there is no word from the once-leading smartphone manufacturer whether these cuts will impact the South African operations.

[34
161,26,2949,1860,159,157
post-13796","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mobile","tag-blackberry","tag-headline","tag-job-cuts","tag-layoffs","tag-research-in-motion","tag-rim
["GET
