The Top Employers Institute has published a list of the top 11 companies in Africa based on their strength in human resources and ‘excellence’ in employee conditions.<\/p>\n

The Holland based company said that a record number of 11 organisations achieved the Top Employers Africa 2017 certification.<\/p>\n

In order to be eligible for the award, participating organisations must be certified in a minimum of four African countries.<\/p>\n

The companies are evaluated across nine key areas: talent strategy, workforce planning, on-boarding, learning & development, performance management, leadership development, career & succession management, compensation & benefits, and culture.<\/p>\n

The Top Employers Institute also certified as many\u00a086 institutions in South Africa for their excellence in employee conditions, up from 77 in 2016.<\/p>\n

Microsoft South Africa was named South Africa\u2019s top employer overall – regardless of sector or organisational size.<\/p>\n
