{"id":14303,"date":"2012-06-01T16:29:47","date_gmt":"2012-06-01T14:29:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=14303"},"modified":"2012-06-01T16:47:19","modified_gmt":"2012-06-01T14:47:19","slug":"telkom-announces-broadband-speed-upgrades","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/telecommunications\/14303\/telkom-announces-broadband-speed-upgrades\/","title":{"rendered":"Telkom announces broadband speed upgrades"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Telkom\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/227037-Telkom\">Telkom<\/a> today announced that <a title=\"ADSL - Asymmetric digital subscriber line\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/2225-ADSL-Asymmetric-digital-subscriber-line\">ADSL<\/a> speed upgrades are on the way. \u201cThis will enable Telkom Internet to effectively increase the value to entry level broadband customers,\u201d Telkom said in a press statement.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom announced the following upgrades to its ADSL offerings: \u2018Up to 384 kbps\u2019 will become \u2018Up to 1024 kbps\u2019 and its \u2018Up to 1024 kbps\u2019 will become \u2018Up to 2048 kbps\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTelkom is enhancing its value proposition to truly differentiate our broadband offerings.
