President Jacob Zuma’s estranged fourth wife, Nompumelelo Ntuli-Zuma, has been given notice by the National Prosecuting Authority that she is a suspect in a conspiracy to murder the president, the Sunday Times reports.<\/p>\n

Ntuli-Zuma was kicked out of Nkandla last year after she was implicated in a plot to poison Zuma. She had since been trying to clear her name; however, when her lawyers asked the NPA about the state of the investigation, she received notice that she was suspect.<\/p>\n

According to the Sunday Times, Ntuli-Zuma was charged with attempted murder in April 2015, but has not since heard anything else from the investigating team.<\/p>\n

The NPA would not confirm any details around the case, saying only that the investigation in ongoing.<\/p>\n

Ntuli-Zuma insists she is innocent.<\/p>\n
