{"id":148259,"date":"2016-12-26T09:13:18","date_gmt":"2016-12-26T07:13:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=148259"},"modified":"2016-12-25T15:13:43","modified_gmt":"2016-12-25T13:13:43","slug":"the-office-jargon-we-hope-to-never-hear-again-in-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/business\/148259\/the-office-jargon-we-hope-to-never-hear-again-in-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"The office jargon we hope to never hear again in 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Anyone who has ever worked in an office will be familiar with nonsensical \u2018corpspeak\u2019 &#8211; that meaningless business jargon that so favoured by those in meetings and widely used when people are trying to impress colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Andrews, MD of Inspiration Office, an Africa-wide office space and furniture consultancy, said there are certain phrases he hopes to never hear again in an office in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an odd phenomenon that when otherwise plain speaking people pass through the portals of the office, their language changes.
