He said that the party can no longer say that it is a perception that it is riddled with corruption, as it is a known fact that there are those within the ANC that are looting the state.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ewn.co.za\/2017\/01\/04\/wait-almost-over-for-class-of-2016-matrics\">South Africans are waiting with great expectation for the announcement of the 2016 matric results, which will be announced later this evening<\/a><\/strong>. 2015&#8217;s results were markedly down from 2014&#8217;s results, with the expectation for 2016 up in the air as concern lingers over the fact that almost half of the subjects written will have their marks adjusted upwards. Students will receive their personal results on Thursday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.businesslive.co.za\/bd\/national\/2017-01-03-presidency-weighs-in-on-msimanga-anc-taiwan-spat\/\">The office of the president said it will be addressing the recent controversy over DA mayor in Tshwane, Solly Msimanga&#8217;s trip to Taiwan<\/a><\/strong>. The ANC has accused Msimanga of &#8220;treason&#8221; for going against the country&#8217;s foreign policy of &#8216;One China&#8217; (not recognizing Taiwan as an independent state). The presidency said it would be directed to president Jacob Zuma&#8217;s coordinating council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enca.com\/south-africa\/afrifurm-takes-eskom-to-court-to-prevent-switchoffs\">AfriForum is taking power utility Eskom to court in a bid to prevent it from cutting off power to municipalities that owe it money<\/a><\/strong>.
