influencing how far your rands will go when travelling abroad.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/finance\/109411\/this-is-what-r100-buys-you-around-the-world\/\" target=\"_blank\">Data<\/a><\/strong> collected by BusinessTech in 2016 found that it was more or less possible to buy yourself a simple meal at the airport on arrival with the spare change in your pocket.<\/p>\n<p>And while thanks to rising inflation amid a turbulent economic and political year locally, your R100 is worth less than it was a year ago, overseas, the locally currency is worth a
