{"id":152349,"date":"2017-01-25T08:03:43","date_gmt":"2017-01-25T06:03:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=152349"},"modified":"2017-01-25T08:03:43","modified_gmt":"2017-01-25T06:03:43","slug":"metro-ethernet-forum-certification-is-an-endorsement-of-seacoms-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/industry-news\/152349\/metro-ethernet-forum-certification-is-an-endorsement-of-seacoms-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Metro Ethernet Forum certification is an endorsement of SEACOM\u2019s services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"m_-1791862668592486119MsoNoSpacing\">Pan-African telecom enabler, <a href=\"http:\/\/tracker.mybroadband.co.za\/\/track.php?page=aHR0cDovL3NlYWNvbS5tdS8?source=Article%202%20of%2012\" target=\"_blank\">SEACOM<\/a>, has earned the Carrier Ethernet 2.0 certification for services from the Metro Ethernet Forum, an industry association that provides a global services framework and the foundation for service innovation in the telecoms industry.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-1791862668592486119MsoNoSpacing\">The MEF Certification Programme enables service providers to certify that their Carrier Ethernet services comply with the relevant MEF specifications.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-1791862668592486119MsoNoSpacing\">It assures SEACOM wholesale and commercial customers that the operator\u2019s network services conform to MEF\u2019s exacting standards of quality and performance.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-1791862668592486119MsoNoSpacing\">SEACOM was certified for all four MEF service types in November 2016.
