The Guptas accused Gordhan of masterminding a plot to shut their South African businesses down. Gordhan said that it was just the latest in a string of accusations leveled against him by the family, who are waging war against him and National Treasury.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ewn.co.za\/2017\/01\/31\/mantashe-refutes-claims-brian-molefe-is-on-anc-list-for-parliament\">ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe has scuppered reports saying that former Eskom CEO Brian Molefe was in line for a position as an MP &#8211; and being primed for the finance ministry<\/a><\/strong>. According to Mantashe, there is a process to be followed in nominating members to become MPs, and that it is up to the ANC in the North West to put his name forward, but none of this can &#8216;happen overnight&#8217; 12 months must pass before Parliamentary lists can be altered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2017-01-30\/nando-s-spicy-chicken-chain-said-to-weigh-ipo-to-fund-expansion\">South African global chicken franchise\u00a0Nando&#8217;s is considering a return to the stock market, with Bloomberg reporting that the group is eyeing a possible listing on the London Stock Exchange<\/a><\/strong>. The group was previously listed on the JSE between 1997 and 2003.
