The National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (Naamsa) has revealed the best-selling light commercial vehicles (bakkies)\u00a0this past month (January 2017).<\/p>\n

The data shows that Ford Ranger remains the bestselling bakkie in South Africa, narrowly beating out the Toyota Hilux by\u00a0279 units. However over the course of 2016 it was the\u00a0Toyota Hilux which could claim to be the bestselling\u00a0light commercial vehicle in South Africa \u00a0with 35,428 units sold compared to the Ranger’s\u00a032,468.<\/p>\n

Nissan’s NP200, the NP300 and Isuzu’s KB\u00a0rounded up the top five.<\/p>\n
