The Pretoria High Court has barred the EFF’s Julius Malema\u00a0from inciting illegal land grabs in a judgement handed down on Tuesday, 7 March.<\/p>\n
This follows an interdict submitted by\u00a0Afriforum and AfriBusiness in November 2016, which claimed that Malema should be stopped from making the claims publicly as it incited violence and was a criminal offence.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfriBusiness views private land ownership as one of the cornerstones of a flourishing economy that is based on the free market system,” said AfriBusiness’ Armand Greyling.<\/p>\n
“Any threat or undermining of private land ownership will deter local and international investors and lead to the flow of capital out of the country.”<\/p>\n
