Airports Council International (ACI) has announced the winners of the 2016 Airport Service Quality Awards<\/a><\/strong>, showing which airports across the world come out tops in providing an excellent customer experience.<\/p>\n

The results are based on\u00a0600,000 individual surveys in 41 languages in 84 countries, and measures passengers\u2019 views of 34 key performance indicators, including airport access, check-in, security screening, restrooms, stores and restaurants.<\/p>\n

The awards are presented to those airports whose customers have rated them the highest over the course of the year, and are split into three categories across all regions – airports with more than 2 million passengers, airports with fewer than 2 million passengers, and the most improved airports.<\/p>\n

In Africa, Mauritius’\u00a0Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport was ranked as the best airport on the continent, followed by Cape Town International Airport in 2nd and Durban’s King Shaka International Airport in 3rd.<\/p>\n

Bloemfontein’s\u00a0Bram Fischer International Airport was ranked as the continent’s best airport (under 2 million passengers) and also claimed the title of the most improved on the continent.<\/p>\n
