{"id":163687,"date":"2017-03-12T08:29:12","date_gmt":"2017-03-12T06:29:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=163687"},"modified":"2017-03-12T08:30:01","modified_gmt":"2017-03-12T06:30:01","slug":"new-secret-plan-for-a-r1-3-billion-private-jet-for-zuma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/government\/163687\/new-secret-plan-for-a-r1-3-billion-private-jet-for-zuma\/","title":{"rendered":"New &#8216;secret&#8217; plan for a R1.3 billion private jet for Zuma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Jacob Zuma is set to get a new R1.3 billion private jet on top of the current presidential plane, Inkwazi, according to a report in the Sunday Times.<\/p>\n<p>The Sunday paper said that discussions are underway to purchase a jet which can seat 18 people for shorter trips in Africa, while Inkwazi will be used for international flights.<\/p>\n<p>A document seen by the Sunday Times stated that \u201cit is essential\u201d a regional aircraft is acquired.
