Verint Systems<\/a> has announced a new African reseller partner in Jasco Enterprise<\/a> as part of its expansion into the continent.<\/p>\n

The group, which provides analytic software and hardware for the security, surveillance, and business intelligence markets, also announced appointments associated with its expansion plans.<\/p>\n

Craig Butler<\/a>, a 20-year veteran of the South African communications industry will head up operations. In his role, he will spearhead all sales and partner development programmes as Verint says it continues to drive its suite of enterprise workforce optimisation (WFO) and voice of the customer solutions across contact centre, branch and back-office operations.<\/p>\n

Butler previously served as country manager for Avaya Sub-Saharan Africa, where during his tenure, he successfully grew the Southern African coastal business; worked on the regional team that completed the Nortel acquisition and integration; and advanced the company\u2019s market share with a focus on the financial and insurance sector.<\/p>\n

He is joined by Charlene Pienaar, solutions architect, previously integration consultant at Business Connexion<\/a>, who brings expertise and experience consulting on Verint, Cisco<\/a>, Avaya and Nortel<\/a> product ranges.<\/p>\n

Jasco Enterprise partners with technology companies to deliver customer interaction management solutions and services to support customers in financial services, government, retail, outsourcing, utilities and emergency services.<\/p>\n

According to Verint, adding its workforce optimisation and voice of the customer solutions will bring a robust, proven technology set, enhancing the company\u2019s overall offering, particularly in the contact centre space.<\/p>\n
