Thambo International, East London Airport 6th and Port Elizabeth Airport in 10th place.<\/p>\n<p>The 2017 World Airport Awards are based on 13.82 million airport survey questionnaires that were completed by 105 different nationalities of air travellers during the survey period.<\/p>\n<p>According to Skytrax, the survey operated from July 2016 to February 2017, covering 550 airports worldwide and evaluating traveller experiences across different airport service and product key performance indicators.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Top 10 Best Airport in Africa for 2017:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div travellers for the fifth consecutive year, while South Africa&#8217;s major airports performed well on a global level.<\/p>\n<p>Cape Town Airport was ranked 19th (22nd in 2016),\u00a0 Johannesburg&#8217;s OR Tambo slipped to 35th, from 30th in 2016, and King Shaka Airport was stable at 35th best airport in the world.<\/p>\n<p>The Durban airport did rank sixth best regional airport in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.airlinequality.com\/news\/best-airports-of-2017-unveiled-at-world-airport-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\">rankings<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Top 10 Best Airport in the world
