{"id":167265,"date":"2017-03-30T11:12:21","date_gmt":"2017-03-30T09:12:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=167265"},"modified":"2017-03-30T11:12:21","modified_gmt":"2017-03-30T09:12:21","slug":"ford-kuga-recall-spreads-to-australia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/motoring\/167265\/ford-kuga-recall-spreads-to-australia\/","title":{"rendered":"Ford Kuga recall spreads to Australia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Australian media is reporting that Ford is recalling almost 5,000 vehicles in the country after several have burst into flames.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.news.com.au\/finance\/business\/ford-is-recalling-the-kuga-suv-and-fiesta-st-hatchback-in-australia-after-seven-cars-caught-fire-locally\/news-story\/7292ada14964ab86a7c4bad8026f1356\" target=\"_blank\">news.com.au<\/a>, 4,450 Ford Kuga SUVs, along with 400 Fiesta ST hatchbacks will be recalled &#8211; they both have the same 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are aware of 7 reports of fire associated with this issue in Australia.
