{"id":172237,"date":"2017-04-25T12:32:31","date_gmt":"2017-04-25T10:32:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=172237"},"modified":"2017-04-25T13:10:31","modified_gmt":"2017-04-25T11:10:31","slug":"more-south-africans-use-facebook-than-watch-tv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/internet\/172237\/more-south-africans-use-facebook-than-watch-tv\/","title":{"rendered":"More South Africans use Facebook than watch TV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new survey finds that more South Africans are likely to have used Facebook in the last week than watched TV.<\/p>\n<p>Cape Town based media agency, Limelight Consulting, has unpacked the latest social media behaviours in South Africa in its Media Usage Report, having surveyed 3,370 respondents.<\/p>\n<p>The report found that 72% of digitally-connected adult South Africans use Facebook daily while more people have used Facebook in the last week than watched television.<\/p>\n<p>Young Adults, aged 18 &#8211;
