More photos of Miller\u2019s project can be found on his site, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unequalscenes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Unequal Scenes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDiscrepancies in how people live are sometimes hard to see from the ground. The beauty of being able to fly is to see things from a new perspective \u2013 to see things as they really are,\u201d said Miller when he first published the images in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLooking straight down from a height of several hundred meters, incredible scenes of inequality emerge. Some communities have been expressly designed with separation in mind, and some have grown more or less organically.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Miller has uploaded a series of videos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCW8KGx6z7vKJnMCpA9CvfiQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>onto Youtube <\/strong><\/a>capturing the wealth divide in the cape city. &#8220;Oftentimes, communities of extreme wealth and privilege will exist just meters from squalid conditions and shack dwellings,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Cape Town based photographer has since been shortlisted for the 2017 D&amp;AD Next Photographer Award, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/inequality\/2017\/apr\/25\/unequal-scenes-drone-video-sums-up-global-inequality\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Guardian reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s surprising how looking at something from a new angle can change people\u2019s perspectives.
