{"id":17312,"date":"2012-07-09T11:58:25","date_gmt":"2012-07-09T09:58:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=17312"},"modified":"2012-07-09T12:00:14","modified_gmt":"2012-07-09T10:00:14","slug":"mobile-sports-betting-to-hit-45bn-by-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/17312\/mobile-sports-betting-to-hit-45bn-by-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Mobile sports betting to hit $45bn by 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New data out on Monday (9 July) from Juniper Research finds that online sportsbooks and betting exchanges have been among the leading beneficiaries of the consumer smartphone and tablet boom.<\/p>\n<p>The report finds that more than $13 billion in bets \u2013 including more than $3 billion in the UK &#8211;
