Vodacom unveiled its “Power Hour Promotion\u201d on 30 June 2012, offering its subscribers 60 minutes of on-net calls between 6am and 6pm on weekdays for R5. This promotion runs from Monday 2 July 2012 to 31 July 2012.<\/p>\n
Vodacom spokesperson Nomsa Thusi said that their Power Hour promotion has \u201cproved to be very popular with more than half a million customers accessing it on a daily basis\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cCustomers are using the promotional minutes during peak times as expected which shows that the promotion is hugely successful,\u201d said Thusi.<\/p>\n
According to Thusi, many customers are also taking advantage of the company\u2019s Night Shift promotion which offers prepaid subscribers who recharge with R12 or more per week free calls between midnights and 5am.<\/p>\n
