Cell C\u2019s 99c For Real prepaid service has gained a great deal of traction in the South African mobile market since it was launched on 20 May 2012.<\/p>\n
Cell C CEO, Alan Knott-Craig said that they have shipped more than 4 million 99c For Real starter packs from their warehouse to distribution channels to date. \u201cWe have more than 1 million customers on the 99 For Real package,\u201d said Knott-Craig.<\/p>\n
Cell C is also showing strong data subscriber growth. \u201cWe have more than 3 million data users on our network. We have seen a steady increase in data users and usage,\u201d said Knott-Craig.<\/p>\n
Knott-Craig added that the take up of their contract and least cost routing (LCR) services has been “steady”.<\/p>\n
Cell C\u2019s contract offerings may be bolstered by the operator\u2019s recent addition of the iPhone to its product range, complementing its existing high-end phones from HTC, BlackBerry, Nokia and Samsung.<\/p>\n
