{"id":180389,"date":"2017-06-20T18:04:40","date_gmt":"2017-06-20T16:04:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=180389"},"modified":"2017-06-20T18:06:49","modified_gmt":"2017-06-20T16:06:49","slug":"you-can-now-find-a-job-inside-google-search","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/internet\/180389\/you-can-now-find-a-job-inside-google-search\/","title":{"rendered":"You can now find a job inside Google search"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Technology giant Google has teamed up with\u00a0recruitment sites and organisations to help make the process of finding a job easier, in Search.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today we\u2019re taking the next step in the Google for Jobs initiative by putting the convenience and power of Search into the hands of job seekers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With this new experience, we aim to connect Americans to job opportunities across the US, so no matter who you are or what kind of job you\u2019re looking for, you can find job postings that match your needs,&#8221; the company said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/search\/connecting-more-americans-jobs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blog post <\/a>on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Starting today in English on desktop and mobile, when you search for \u201cjobs near me,\u201d \u201cteaching jobs,\u201d or similar job-seeking queries, you\u2019ll see in-depth results that allow you to explore jobs from across the web.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The results will include commute time and driving information powered by Google Maps, while job searchers will also see reviews and ratings of the employer from trusted sites, right alongside the job description.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019ll continue to add additional filters and information in the future. Looking for jobs is a personal and complex journey, and one that we\u2019re trying to support in this new search experience,&#8221; Google said.<\/p>\n<p><a  data-lightbox=\"post-image\" href=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/GoogleJobs-e1497973850698.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-180399\" src=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/GoogleJobs-e1497973850698.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"420\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Google has partnered with LinkedIn, Monster, WayUp, DirectEmployers, CareerBuilder, Glassdoor and Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This means you\u2019ll see job postings from these sites and many others from across the web as soon as they\u2019re posted.
