The letters were reportedly used to secure a R30 billion contract, through which the Guptas scored a R5 billion kickback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesslive.co.za\/bd\/economy\/2017-06-27-sfiso-buthelezi-claims-inflation-targeting-bad-for-sa\/\">Deputy finance minister Sfiso Buthelezi has come out in apparent support of the Public Protector&#8217;s call to change the Reserve Bank&#8217;s mandate in the Constitution, saying that it should at least be up for debate.<\/a><\/strong> Buthelezi says that inflation targeting by SARB may have been necessary when it was implemented, but is not good for an economy in crisis.
