According to ratings from ThinkMoney.co.za, Capitec’s Global One account ranks as the top banking account available from South Africa’s big banks.<\/p>\n

ThinkMoney.co.za is a financial product comparison website with over 214,000 registered subscribers. The ratings for the listed bank accounts were based on user reviews from close to 6,000 account holders.<\/p>\n

It’s important to note that the rankings are based on average scores based off of a varying amount of user reviews per bank and per account.<\/p>\n

When ranking the bankings by their overall product reviews, Capitec comes out on top with its only account – Global One Gold – keeping it consistent at 4.3 out of a 5-star rating. FNB takes second spot at 3.7 out of 5, while Absa sits at the bottom of the rankings with 3.2.<\/p>\n

While looking at the most popular bank accounts ranked by ThinkMoney’s users, Capitec’s Global One account is listed as the top-ranked account, scoring 4.5 on a 5-star rating.<\/p>\n

FNB’s Easy account took second spot with an average score of 4.2, while FNB’s Gold Cheque account and Nedbank’s Savvy Electronic accounts also ranked highly, scoring 4.1, each.<\/p>\n

The least popular account amongst account holders is Absa’s Gold and Silver Current accounts, which scored 2.8 and 2.9, respectively.<\/p>\n
