Cell C announced today (1 August 2012) that as part of its pricing revamp, the company has reduced its standard data rate to R0.15c per MB for in and out-of-bundle usage across its entire data product portfolio.<\/p>\n

The new flat rate applies to all prepaid and contract data bundles and packages from 1 August 2012.<\/p>\n

Yesterday (31 July 2012), Cell C also announced that it would be extending its current\u00a0postpaid and prepaid data promotions until 31 October 2012.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are committed to offering customers deals that are affordable, transparent and simple. What you see is what you get. No more nasty surprises when you go out of bundle. You will pay one low rate for in-bundle and out-of-bundle usage,\u201d says Cell C CEO Alan Knott-Craig.<\/p>\n

He says the company has reduced the rates of its standard data offerings to suit everyone\u2019s needs \u2013 from the occasional Internet browser to the hardcore tech junkie.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition to the reduced standard data rates, customers can continue to look forward to very competitive promotions that we will run from time to time.\u201d says Knott-Craig.<\/p>\n
