The Hawks <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesslive.co.za\/bd\/national\/2017-08-31-hawks-pursue-pravin-gordhan-over-npa-bugging-claims\/\">could not confirm they were looking at Gordhan<\/a><\/strong>, but Manuel has confirmed he has been subpoenaed in the matter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/af.reuters.com\/article\/commoditiesNews\/idAFL8N1LG63Z\">The Hawks have revealed that they are in fact investigating the Gupta family &#8211; counter to president Zuma&#8217;s son, Duduzane&#8217;s claims<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; specifically looking at the family&#8217;s controversial 2013 wedding. However, the investigative unit said that the wedding investigation forms part of a much larger case. The wedding was allegedly paid for through laundered state funds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iol.co.za\/business-report\/companies\/eskom-is-in-another-deep-hole-11008945\">Public enterprises minister Lynne Brown must today explain the R1.6 billion in payments Eskom made to Trillian and McKinsey.<\/a><\/strong> She gave the firms until today to deliver a report explaining the payments, after Eskom reportedly admitted that it lied about them getting the all-clear. Brown has pleaded ignorance in the matter, saying she did not know.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.702.co.za\/articles\/270542\/property-developer-explains-plans-for-ratanga-junction-closure-and-redevelopment\">The Rabie Property Group says it will turn Cape Town&#8217;s Ratanga Junction into a new mixed-use development comprising\u00a0corporate offices, restaurants, residential apartments, and show room<\/a><\/strong>s.
