The sales, marketing and construction sectors, on the other hand, saw a notable uptake in jobs since the beginning of the year, it said.<\/p>\n<p>The Career Junction Index (CJI) represents online labour dynamics in South Africa by providing a detailed analysis of the relative ratio of supply and demand in the online job market.<\/p>\n<p>Trending jobs, Career Junction said, provide an indication of positions that have become more popular in the online job market and has seen a recent spike in demand.<\/p>\n<p>Trending jobs for August include financial analysis, business development and repre-sentative\/sales consulting.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Financial Analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Average salary offerings for an intermediate level position:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GP: R45,007 to R53,123<\/li>\n<li>WC: R 39,712 to R48,250<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GP: R18,230 to\u00a0 R24,197<\/li>\n<li>WC: R17,344 to R19,524<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Representative\/Sales Consulting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GP: R12,386 to R17,764<br \/>\nWC: R11,463 to R15,638<br \/>\nKZN: R9,214 to R13,537<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Most in-demand skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Career Junction&#8217;s latest research shows that the following occupational fields are by far the most in demand skill sets in the job market currently:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Software Development:<\/strong> Demand for software developers grew by 6% from July to August 2017. Software development and programming remains the most sought after skill sets on CareerJunction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Representatives\/Sales Consulting:<\/strong> Job advertising for sales representatives remains high on CareerJunction. Demand for these professionals has increased by 25% over the past six months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Middle\/Department Management:<\/strong> Employment opportunities for professionals in management are plentiful. Managerial vacancies increased by 3% during August.
