The high courts in Pretoria and Johannesburg have been equipped with wi-fi facilities, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide said on Thursday (16 August 2012).<\/p>\n
“Increasing productivity in the High Courts around South Africa… form part of the second round of implementation of the wi-fi facility,” it said in a statement.<\/p>\n
The facility was installed in the Cape High Court in August last year.<\/p>\n
“The Johannesburg and Pretoria High Courts have long seen the need to assist in developing the legal industry as a whole, and in this case through online connectivity.”<\/p>\n
Wi-fi is Technology which allows an electronic device to exchange data wirelessly over a computer network.<\/p>\n
Ogilvy issued the statement on behalf of Law Credit and LexisNexis SA, a provider of content and technology solutions.<\/p>\n
