Huawei has launched its new Mate 10 smartphones in South Africa \u2013 the Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design.<\/p>\n
Both Mate 10 devices sport the manufacturer\u2019s new Kirin 970 processor, which boasts powerful performance and an embedded AI processor.<\/p>\n
The Huawei Mate 10 Series is also the world\u2019s fastest smartphone supporting super-fast LTE connectivity and download speeds. The device comes with the world\u2019s first dual 4G SIM support and dual VoLTE connections.<\/p>\n
Huawei said the device\u2019s neural network processing unit, combined with its HiAI mobile computing platform, allows the Kirin 970 to deliver up to 25-times better performance and 50-times greater energy efficiency for AI-related tasks when compared to four Cortex-A73 cores.<\/p>\n
The chip\u2019s dual-image sensor offers AI-powered photography, and all Mate 10 models sport a dual rear camera system consisting of 12MP colour and 20MP monochrome sensors.<\/p>\n
The Mate 10 Porsche Design and Mate 10 Pro also feature a 2,160 x 1,080 AMOLED screen.<\/p>\n

Huawei\u2019s new flagship devices have also been enhanced by the company\u2019s strategic partnerships, one of which is with Microsoft, in the form of its Translator app and through LinkedIn.<\/p>\n
Locally, Huawei is also embarking on a partnership with Standard Bank, with a focus on the Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10, which will be featured in VIP financial offerings for Standard Bank customers who purchase Huawei devices on various uniquely designed offerings.<\/p>\n
