{"id":210339,"date":"2017-11-12T10:43:25","date_gmt":"2017-11-12T08:43:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=210339"},"modified":"2017-11-12T11:35:06","modified_gmt":"2017-11-12T09:35:06","slug":"these-graphs-show-just-how-big-fibre-has-become-in-south-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/broadband\/210339\/these-graphs-show-just-how-big-fibre-has-become-in-south-africa\/","title":{"rendered":"These graphs show just how big fibre has become in South Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fibre ISP comparison group <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fibretiger.co.za\/\">Fibre Tiger<\/a><\/strong> has published a new infographic looking at the rise of fibre connectivity in South Africa versus ADSL, as well as the prominence of the various fibre providers in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The data is taken from Google Trends searches, showing how fibre has become more prolific in search over time, as ADSL has declined.<\/p>\n<p>The results show that even among South African ISPs, fibre is becoming the most sought-after product compared to ADSL.
