Qoma gave the explosive testimony to the portfolio committee currently probing state capture at the group. Brown has denied the claims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enca.com\/africa\/watch-sa-will-intervene-in-event-of-zim-coup\">A possible coup in Zimbabwe is making waves in South Africa, with the local government saying it is keeping an eye on the situation<\/a><\/strong>. As chair of the SADC region, South Africa would have to intervene in the event of a coup. Reports indicate that the Zim military has taken control of several state facilities and detained ministers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mg.co.za\/article\/2017-11-14-anc-to-intervene-in-3-troubled-provinces-over-branch-meetings\">ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe says the party may intervene in three provinces where branches are fighting over nominations for the party&#8217;s elective conference next month<\/a><\/strong>. The Eastern Cape, North West and KwaZulu Natal are fighting internally over the nominations, with the deadline looming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The Gauteng SAPS has released local crime data, showing that murder in the province has increased by 6.7%, with attempted murder up 6.5%. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ewn.co.za\/2017\/11\/15\/gauteng-s-best-and-worst-police-stations-revealed\">The department singled out Midrand, Edenvale, and Mamelodi East police stations and the worst performing in the province, missing targets due to poor leadership<\/a><\/strong>.
