Construction has kicked off on Deloitte’s new Midrand headquarters, currently being built in the upmarket Waterfall Estate.<\/p>\n

The 42,500 square metre ultra\u2010modern offices are expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2020, and Deloitte plans to begin operating from its new base from April 2020.<\/p>\n

Atterbury, a leading South African property investment and development business, and JSE\u2010listed premier property company, Attacq, are co\u2010owners in a 50\/50 joint venture on the development of the new Deloitte premises.<\/p>\n

While bulk earthworks for the project began in October this year, the official commencement of development kicked off in November..<\/p>\n

The new premises will consolidate Deloitte\u2019s current Woodmead and Pretoria offices into a single central location at Waterfall.<\/p>\n

The building has space capacity for close to 5,000 people and promises Deloitte prominent highway frontage at the eastern side of Waterfall City as well as its clients and talent easy and quick access to its premises.<\/p>\n

The development consists of a ground floor with six stories of offices and four basement parking levels including nearly 2,000 parking bays.<\/p>\n

The total estimated development cost is in excess of R1 billion.<\/p>\n
