Jasco<\/a> has completed the sale of its headquarters in Midrand as part of its strategy to dispose of non-core assets.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have sold our Jasco HQ property in Midrand.\u00a0 This is part of our strategy to dispose of non-core assets and will allow the group to further bolster the business with \u2018bolt on\u2019 acquisitions,\u201d a spokesperson for the Jasco told BusinessTech.<\/p>\n

In February, Jasco highlighted the benefits of a restructuring programme, along with the integration of ICT group, Spescom<\/a> for a 55% rise in H1 revenue.<\/p>\n

Last month, it issued a statement indicating that it expected its headline earnings per share for the year ended June 2012, to be between 15.4 cents and 18.2 cents, from 14 cents recorded in 2011.<\/p>\n

Jasco Converged Solutions, a business unit within Jasco ICT Solutions, is aiming to refocus the ICT and telecoms service model firmly on the customer, addressing changing market needs with innovative, flexible solution offerings.<\/p>\n

In line with trends – such as increasing demand for a move from Capex to Opex payment models; adoption of hosted services and cloud applications; mobility requirements; Bring Your Own Device (BYOD); and more – Converged Solutions delivers a full range of network-neutral managed telecoms and ICT services for the medium to large enterprise, enabling organisations to take advantage of the latest technologies.<\/p>\n

These solutions can also be integrated with offerings from throughout the greater Jasco Group, delivering true end-to-end converged connectivity and communication solutions, the group said.<\/p>\n

Converged Solutions incorporates previous businesses, Maringo Communications, ARC Telecoms, and CAG – a voice business basd in the Eastern Cape.\u00a0 \u201c<\/p>\n

This is how the business unit will be marketed, and will form part of the group marketing strategy for Jasco ICT Solutions,\u201d said Paven Chetty<\/a>, managing executive at Jasco Converged Solutions.<\/p>\n

Chetty said that Converged Solutions offers a range of ISP and Telecommunication solutions \u2013 made up of various ICT services (last mile, Internet access, VoIp and hosted services.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do not offer a \u2018one size fits all\u2019 package offering but rather a tailored solution that is suited to the client\u2019s needs and requirements with the various products and services we have in our fold.\u201d<\/p>\n
