likely to look at Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) has confirmed that it plans to unveil a new unit which will deal exclusively with the monitoring of fintech in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to BusinessTech, the SARB said that it could not officially comment on what new technologies the unit will focus on, but said that an official media statement would be released detailing the new unit within the next week.<\/p>\n<p>It has been strongly hinted that the unit will be regulatory in nature, and will focus on the development and positioning of new policies across the fintech arena &#8211;
