for 2018, a list of vehicles the publication deemed to be the best within their respective classes.<\/p>\n<p>The list is based on ranges (not individual models) driven by CAR&#8217;s vastly-experienced editorial team, with a number of facets including package, personality, performance and value all considered when making the final decision.<\/p>\n<p>The full list published &#8211; including special ward winners &#8211; will be published in the upcoming March 2018 <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carmag.co.za\/news_post\/car-magazines-top-12-best-buys-of-2018-revealed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">issue<\/a> <\/strong>of CAR magazine.<\/p>\n<p>The list of overall category winners and runners is detailed below.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Best budget car (under R160 000)<\/strong> &#8211;
