{"id":22626,"date":"2012-09-21T09:59:21","date_gmt":"2012-09-21T07:59:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=22626"},"modified":"2012-09-21T13:00:01","modified_gmt":"2012-09-21T11:00:01","slug":"telkom-mobile-md-search-continues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/22626\/telkom-mobile-md-search-continues\/","title":{"rendered":"Telkom Mobile MD search continues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Telkom\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/1637-Telkom\">Telkom<\/a> says that the recruitment process for the appointment of the head of <a title=\"Telkom Mobile\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/1669-8ta\">Telkom Mobile<\/a> is still underway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn announcement in this regard [the appointment of a new Telkom Mobile head] will be made once this process has been concluded,\u201d Telkom said.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom CFO and acting Telkom Mobile MD <a title=\"Jacques Schindehutte\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/3315-Jacques-Schindehutte\">Jacques Schindehutte<\/a> said in June that a permanent Telkom Mobile MD appointment was expected within a month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have a number of options on the table,\u201d he said at the time adding that the list contained both oversees based, and local candidates. \u201cWe will be taking a decision in the next month.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This did not transpire, possibly because of uncertainty regarding the company\u2019s future.
