Global internet and entertainment group Naspers says that Mark Sorour, its executive director and group chief investment officer, has decided to retire after more than 20 years with the group.<\/p>\n

“Mark has been at the forefront of all the group\u2019s expansion efforts and has led some of the most meaningful transactions for Naspers.<\/p>\n

“Mark will remain on the board as a non-executive director. His appointment will be presented for approval by shareholders at the next annual general meeting. He will also continue to serve as a non-executive director on the Mail.ru Group Limited board,” Naspers said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Products and services of companies that Naspers has invested in, acquired or built, include Avito, Brainly, Codecademy, Delivery Hero, eMAG, Flipkart, ibibo, iFood, letgo, Media24, Movile, MultiChoice, OLX, PayU, Showmax, SimilarWeb, SinDelantal, Swiggy, Twiggle, and Udemy.<\/p>\n
