The Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE<\/a>) on Wednesday announced the resignation of its director and CFO\u201a Freda Evans<\/a>\u201a with effect from the end of the month.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor some time\u201a we have been discussing Evans\u2019 desire to go and do some things outside the JSE and we have agreed that now would be an appropriate time for her to leave the JSE\u201a\u201d it said in the announcement.<\/p>\n

Evans joined the JSE in 2000 as CFO and has been a Director since 2008.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe appointment of a new chief financial officer will be considered by the board in due course\u201a\u201d the JSE said.<\/p>\n
