The app store would be pre-installed on Huawei devices and will include a variety of content.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Huawei\u2019s consumer mobile services in Africa will include an app store for locally-developed games, music, movies, books, and other content,&#8221; the company said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are also planning to launch African themes and cloud storage.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Huawei underlined the six new services at a media event in Sandton on Tuesday. They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>App Gallery<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; to include local developers to showcase their apps on the platform.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Theme Store<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; which offers themes for users\u2019 devices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Huawei Music<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; digital music streaming platform. The service will include 80% South African music at launch in 2018. International music will be added thereafter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>HiCloud\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; a personal data cloud storage service.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Huawei Mobile Payment &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>a mobile payments platform.
