{"id":233735,"date":"2018-03-26T09:57:32","date_gmt":"2018-03-26T07:57:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=233735"},"modified":"2018-03-26T09:57:32","modified_gmt":"2018-03-26T07:57:32","slug":"hetzner-wont-increase-prices-with-vat-hike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/cloud-hosting\/233735\/hetzner-wont-increase-prices-with-vat-hike\/","title":{"rendered":"Hetzner won&#8217;t increase prices with VAT hike"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hetzner has announced that its hosting fees won\u2019t be affected by the incoming VAT increase.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement issued on Monday (26 March), the company said that it had decided to adsorb the costs as it did not believe that the change in the VAT rate was an adequate trigger for a price increase.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As global input costs continue to increase, we may not be able to avoid price adjustments indefinitely,&#8221; it said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But we prefer to look at price increases tied to improvements in our service.
